Do I have to book a Pod in advance?

A:

No you don’t have to, but if you want to play it safe it is strongly recommended that you do pre-book – especially during the busier early afternoon hours! We are still in the process of enabling online reservations, in the meantime please email us your booking requirements to tdm@sleep-n- shop.com.

Is there a minimum stay?

A:

The minimum stay is 30 minutes for walk-in guests, and one hour for all online reservations (once available).

What is the maximum occupancy in your Pods?

A:

Each Pod accommodates one guest; plus, space permitting, an infant.

Q?

When does sleep ’n shop at The Dubai Mall get particularly busy?

A:

Our peaks are during the early and late afternoon, i.e. after lunch and before dinner time.

In case I decide not to book online in advance, how do I pay for my stay at reception as a walk-in guest?

A:

Either via credit card (VISA, Master, JCB, Union Pay) or in cash in UAE Dirhams.

Are children allowed to use a Sleep Pod?

A:

Yes, as long as they are accompanied by an adult in a separate Pod. Space permitting babies and toddlers are allowed to share a Pod together with an adult.

Do you provide bed linen?

A:

Each Pod comes with a disposable head rest cover – pillows and blankets are optionally available at an extra cost.

Do you provide a wake-up service?

A:

Yes we do, but nevertheless you should set your own alarm - we are not liable if you miss an appointment, your flight or any other commitment.

Is sleep ’n shop quiet?

A:

Yes, as much as our location allows, which is not partitioned off from the main corridors between the mall entrance and car park. We try our best to operate sleep ’n shop as a Quiet Zone and kindly request our guests to refrain from phone calls, loud talking and any other source of noise. If required, ear plugs are provided free of charge to all our guests.

Does sleep ’n shop have toilets and showers?

A:

No we don’t, but such public facilities are available nearby inside the actual mall.

Q?

Where do I put my shopping bags or handbag?

A:

Underneath the Pod’s seat cushion there is a generously sized luggage compartment to accommodate your personal belongings. Any larger items that do not fit may be placed next to your pod. Although we have staff permanently attending the premises we cannot be held liable under any circumstances in case of any loss or damage to your belongings.

Do you have free WiFi?

A:

We do not operate our own WiFi, but The Dubai Mall’s free of charge WiFi also covers our location.

Q?

What happens if I have to cancel my online reservation?

A:

We offer full refund until 24 hours prior to scheduled check-in date/time. There is no refund in case of later cancellations or in case of no-show.
